That conversation was on Wot, with the owner of Gifyu. I am not involved, but I thought as the conversation evolved that I liked what I heard.

Yes! I think that Imgur quote is very new!!! I don't remember seeing it written like that when the whole Photobucket thing began. But then, what do I really know about it all.

I totally agree with you! What value are those sites, like Imgur, if you can't use the pictures to post them.

Some of the pictures on this board are still with Imgur. I need to replace them tonight. The smileys are all changed over though.

GOOD WEDNESDAY, July 12th MY FRIENDS!

[sign in to see URL] wee cool down, only going to be 96 today! Yes, I am being sarcastic! 😜 [sign in to see URL] the RV, should get it finished today, for tomorrow I am going on our first Ladies day out with Mom since we left for vacation. ♥ Then Friday I have to whip this lawn into shape, mowing, edging and weed whacking. That will all be done in the morning too, even Mom said she wanted to go 30 minutes earlier! I do hope you all have a fantastic day where ever you might be.

SUSA, oh [sign in to see URL] understand now.
My siggy and my avatar are on Imgur! I guess I am breaking their rules! emoticon
What a pain this all is!! emoticon BUT, I suspect that is what Photobucket is hoping for. People who think it is a pain to find and move years worth of photos, and will just pay their extortion fee! emoticon

GOOD THURSDAY, July 13th MY FRIENDS!
Today is ladies day out. But we are going a half hour earlier because of the heat, so I pick Mom up at 9am. Don't know what all we will get into, but there will be laughter, always is! So, I will be back online this afternoon.
I hope you all have a truly smile making day!

Hi Queeny! I know that you had a nice day, today.

It has been a rainy day, here, but mostly this morning and then it was a lot of rain. My student who came this afternoon did a great job. She is 10 and is really flying. I hope she can keep the momentum.

Re: So tell me about your day

GOOD FRIDAY, July 14th MY FRIENDS!

Sorry I'm running so late. I needed to make some special graphics, that takes a bit, but thanks to PHOTOBUCKET, I had to find a new place to host them! Grrrrrrrrrr.....
*breathes deep*.....
[sign in to see URL] had my coffee and breakfast and went out and mowed, weed whacked and pull weeds and trimmed up some tree branches and dead headed the flowers, all before it got really hot. It was already 77F and "real feel" say's it feels like 80F at 9:30am, but now at 12:30 it is 90F, real feel says it feels like 101F!
OH! And when I was trimming some low hanging branches from our Honey Locust, I noticed that we had some kind of "bug" problem. I guessed an aphid type bug, because the juice was like sucked out of the leaves on certain branches. So took some over to the nursery in a large ziplock bag and they [sign in to see URL] type of aphid. And I bought a gallon of stuff, which will cover all 3 trees. Seems when one tree gets infested, they all eventually do.
WAS NOT CHEAP for the gallon either, $[sign in to see URL] it IS cheaper than calling out the sprayer people.
Hope you are all having a wonderful [sign in to see URL] a cooler one!

SUSA....I can't believe all the rain you all had! But I do remember living in MN and it would rain like [sign in to see URL] all the man hole covers in the lower part of Buffalo bubbled [sign in to see URL] we had geysers shooting up around what WAS the Buffalo National Bank! Some of them were a good 4 feet in the air from all the rain water entering the storm drains and the bank was down towards the lake, so the lowest part of town, before it all ran into the [sign in to see URL] the pipes going into the lake were not made for that incredible amount of run [sign in to see URL] the manhole covers went off and we had a good half dozen "Old Faithfuls" around the Bank!

So glad that student is doing so good. Hopefully she will keep it going. emoticon

Hi Queeny! I am hoping that the flooding is down here, but I don't know. There was a lot about it in the newspaper yesterday, but not so much today.

I hope that you get everything done you want done, today. It feels so good to accomplish things.

I may sign up for my own website, today, so I can host my own pictures. It will not be my own server, but renting space on a server. It will cost $36 for the first year. I am very nervous about it because I don't have any advice from anyone who has done it. I think I will go read awhile first and then come back and read their terms of service carefully, but I think this is a good place. It keeps popping up as number 1. I will let you know all about it, even if I am unsuccessful.

I wrote to Lesa, again, to see if the site I am looking at would work for storing pictures, or if I would need to do more. I hope I hear back from her, tonight. I am not going to do anything until I see if she answers. I know that she is very busy.

OK! I did it! I have my own hosting site. [sign in to see URL]

I have HostGator Cloud. It cost me $[sign in to see URL]. That is with the sale price in the article I just posted the link for. (Yes. I know. I ended with a preposition.)

It will cost me [sign in to see URL] per year after this.

I talked to them on the phone and they assured me that I can use the pictures on my message boards. There is a limit of pictures, but the limit was much more than I have ever used on Photobucket. I can have 250,000 inodes, whatever that means, but they will only back up 100,000 inodes.

GOOD SUNDAY, July 16th MY FRIENDS!

Another hot day here. Going to be 100 or over for the next two weeks here. Believe I will be doing all lawn work in the mornings and playing here online in the afternoons.
Today, hubby is doing office work this morning, then he needs to wash the car and I need to clean the house. Then later we will be picking Mom and Dad up to go out to our "Late" Anniversary dinner. Other than [sign in to see URL] quiet day. Hope you all are staying cool where ever you are.

SUSA, I saw that you got your own server!! emoticon YOU GO GIRL! emoticon
Is it an online server? OR a physical server that will be sent to your home and you have to install?

It is online and actually it is a network of servers and they are shared. My site will rotate around the servers depending on how busy the servers are. I actually got a blog along with my account. I am not doing anything with that now. Maybe I will someday, when I am bored, but that rarely happens.

GOOD MONDAY, July 17th MY FRIENDS!

We had a good time at the Texas Roadhouse last night. It was for our belated Anniversary dinner. As always, the meals were done to perfection, and laughter was had by all. It's 66F outside right now, so I have the windows and doors open for a bit this morning. But from here on [sign in to see URL] climbing to 104 by Thursday.
And NO rain in sight. It's funny to look at the daily forecast and see how many different ways they can say [sign in to see URL] and sunny, sunny and hot, hot with lots of [sign in to see URL] Oh [sign in to see URL] think it's better than 3 feet of freaking snow!
Do hope you all are having a great day, despite the fact that it is Monday!

SUSA........[sign in to see URL] really your stuff is in the "cloud". emoticon I asked Microsoft help if their "Cloud" storage and plans allowed for 3rd party [sign in to see URL]'ll see what they say.

GOOD TUESDAY, July 18th MY FRIENDS!

It is nice and cool this morning, 62F. So the windows are open for now. Which means I can really hear my happy birds, while drinking my coffee, also someone a few houses over is mowing, I can hear them and smell the fresh cut grass. In other words a very nice morning indeed.
Have no idea what I will get into today. I have to clean up the counter in the kitchen. It's my catch all, and it needs de-cluttered desperately. I want to make stuffed sweet red peppers for dinner, but other than those things, I have no solid plans!
I hope you all have a day where you can or not, do as you please.

GOOD WEDNESDAY, July 19th MY FRIENDS!

Today is ladies day out, grocery shopping and probably the 2nd hand stores today. Also have some donations of food and litter to drop off for the feral cats. Oh,and Dad wants a haircut. Sort of needs one, I noticed he looks like a Kewpie doll, if any of you remember them!
I should be back on again in the [sign in to see URL] once again it will be way to hot to be out and about.
Have a great day gang!

I hope you had a great day out! I actually know that you did.

Piper has done a couple funny things lately.

Everynight, when I am getting doggy snacks, she runs out to the kitchen with a squeaky toy. Since she was a puppy, I would pick it up and throw it back into the family room and of course she would retrieve it, which doesn't help me not trip over it in the kitchen. About two weeks ago, I started picking up each toy and stacking it against one of the cupboards, out of my way. Well, she never touches that stack and she was out of toys in the family room, so that night, when we were getting ready for bed, I picked up all of the toys and put them in the sink and started washing them. I thought they would be dry by morning. She howled each time I picked on up and put it under the water. It was so funny, because she was soooooooo miserable. The next day I threw them all back into the family room and all was well. How funny!

Another thing she has been doing is that she won't come to me when I call "Piper!!!" She comes when I call "HurryUpPiper!!!" I somehow trained her to come to that. I wonder if she thinks that is what her name is.

GOOD THURSDAY, July 20th MY FRIENDS!

Decided to get out early before the heat moved in and pull the weeds in the back yard. I had done the front shortly after we got home. But today was the back yards turn! Had some doozies too! Now everything is neat and tidy, might mow the lawn tomorrow morning. Had my cereal and second cup of coffee and now cooling off and playing here. Have no idea what else I'll get into today. After dinner we are going over to Mom and Dads, they had to order a new remote for their satellite [sign in to see URL] one that came with the new box did not work. So we'll go over and program it, Mom called and said she thought it was written in Greek! LMAO
Hope you all are enjoying your [sign in to see URL] it a good one.

SUSA....OMG!! Piper! emoticon What a hoot! She sounds like a little kid when we have to wash their favorite blanket or toy, they make such a fuss! emoticon
AND that 'name thing'...that is beyond funny! I bet she does think that is her name! I guess you have used that, "HurryUpPiper" A LOT!! emoticon

I never did read. I ended up with an IBS episode and raced back and forth to the bathroom. I even had to cancel my students. I have been feeling lousy for more than a week. I go to the doctor's tomorrow morning. I am hoping I can tell him what all is happening, but I don't know if I can do that.

GOOD FRIDAY, July 21st MY FRIENDS!

I know, I am very late getting here today. I decided to get the lawn all done before it got to hot. So went out at 8am and weed whacked and edged, then mowed, then used the blower and cleaned up everything. I'm also washing up the bedding's. WHEW! Now I'm here till the washer and dryer need my attention. Now sure if we will be doing Fiesta Friday or not, I have some very nice tomatoes to use up, so might just stay in and make BLT'[sign in to see URL] you all are having a great Friday!

SUSA...I'm sorry you have been feeling so horrible. I wonder, the Fibro flare up and possibly worrying about Nanny and dealing with the stress of Photobuckets impact on your [sign in to see URL] be all too much for you. emoticon

I do think that Photobucket started it all. I am up and getting ready to take the dogs to the groomers and I am nauseated. I am not going to eat anything before I take them. I think I may just eat crackers and rice, today, and then only a spoonful at spaced intervals.

GOOD SUNDAY, July 23rd MY FRIENDS!

So yesterday we took off and went to Boise to look at plants at the giant nursery. Need some ideas for the area where we took out the 6 snow damaged arborvitae trees. We have some ideas and will plant them in the Spring next year.
Then we hung out at the Meridian Mall, watched the fountains and the kids playing, had a nice iced coffee in the shade.
Then had dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ....
Stopped at Best Buy, and picked up some movies that were released in 4K, stopped by Hobby Lobby for some pretty fake flowers to put into a cute water can the Mariette, Dick and Jeanette got us for our Anniversary when were down there, and came home.
I had a HORRIBLE night sleeping. Not my stomach, surprisingly. My back was hurting, and my body was just having a NERVE attack or something. I finally fell asleep at 4AM! Sheesh...
ANYWHO, today will be a very slow and lazy day.
HOPE YOU ALL are having a great weekend.

SUSA....you can use my "stomach" [sign in to see URL] crackers, cream of wheat and water or flat room temperature Ginger ale. emoticon

I need to get some Saltines!!!! I got out the cream of wheat Roy had had me get, for this morning and when I poured it in my bowl a worm fell out in it. I have Coke, but not Ginger ale. I need to get some of that, too. I have to pick up prescriptions tomorrow morning. Hopefully, I feel good enough to go into the store to get those things. This is really getting frustrating.

I hope that you sleep well, tonight, Queeny and that your back eases up.

GOOD MONDAY, July 24th MY FRIENDS!
AND HAPPY NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY!

Don't think I will be celebrating Tequila [sign in to see URL] and "ta-kill-ya" don't get along very well.
Supposed to hit 101F today, some areas could be in for thunderstorms, but I don't think we will get them here, the mountains on both sides stop most. We just got some increased [sign in to see URL] 60%.
Not sure what today will bring, it's laundry day on the inside and irrigation day on the outside, so won't be working on the yard.
[sign in to see URL]'m sure I will get into something. Hope you all have a great day.

SUSA......Ginger ale is so good for stomachs. I open a can or [sign in to see URL] in a glass, or even in a mason [sign in to see URL] either stir with a spoon or shake, and let the air [sign in to see URL] make it flat. And drink it at room temperature.
[sign in to see URL] I buy a new box of Cream of Wheat. I put it in a large gallon zip bag and store it in the freezer. emoticon

Hello ladies! I haven't been here in quite a while but did find time to visit today.

Susa, are you ready for me to post more Atlas Obscura articles?

I am using my laptop right now. I have found that my desktop works a lot better in the morning than in the evening. Maybe it is getting hot?
