I saw the Pomeranian tonight too, he was sticking close to his master.

Awhile back I saw two other dogs also, one was a small breed and the other looked like a medium sized mutt. The small dog came in with somebody and politely sat near the door. His owner told him to go find a kitty, the dog got squirmy and looked around the room seeing cats everywhere he then looked at his master to say; "You gotta be kidding." emoticon

The Pomeranian, Stella, is back this morning, the chatters call her Faux Paddy, haha, and they said the Pom is Jocey's family pup who comes in with a volunteer.
The cats don't mind her at all when she walks through and when the cats walk by they completely ignore her. emoticon

Oh, and Jacci (ffrc main staff) went to pick up her new free horse yesterday. He's a beautiful brown Tennessee Walker that the owner couldn't keep so he donated the horse to Jacci, she is thrilled and very happy.

I think Jacci is the "pill pusher" and injection specialist. I saw her popping a pill in kitties mouths and saw her give one injection in the nape. She did a test in a holder and she showed the happy negative results to the camera. All the kitties were fine with what she did to them.

What a beautiful gift! I can not even imagine it!! Good for Jacci!

That is really funny about the Faux Paddy. emoticon I love Paddy's name. Did you tell me, or did I read it someplace else, but there are two Paddies there.

Yes there are two Paddys, the one we always see is Paddy Cake, the other is Paddy Purr. Paddy Purr isn't around much so I'm not sure what he looks like but I think I can find a picture of him.

I think there's at least three all black kittens, two of the names I remember are Inkie and Hoot (the smallest of all). One of the three black kitties loves the wheel and one had it's hip surgically pinned, his shave hasn't grown back yet, he's doing perfectly fine now.

I saw two "butt sliders" today, one is all gray and he sits while walking using his front legs to pull himself along sliding on his bottom.
The other is a dark gray who is a double back legs amputee, he holds his bottom up by pressing his tail on the floor and walks on his front legs.

And there is Coralie, she looks like a round blob, she lost both back legs to frostbite and has one claw on her right front paw and no claws on her left paw. She's a sweetheart and lets kittens lie against her.

Another CH disabled kitty is Derechco, a big white and black kitty who lays in front of the counter, he can walk but loses his balance and falls down often. I saw a picture of him as an older kitten wearing a back brace.

They have un-adoptable kitties who are permanent residents too.

I just saw the kitty with no back legs. He was dragging himself toward the back of the room, but he stopped to play with another kitty.

I also saw a calico climb the tree and eat some food up there. Most everyone else was laying around.

I grabbed a shot of the two Paddys near each other. Paddy Cake has white feet and his chest is pure white going to his shoulders.

Paddy Purr has a dirty blonde chest and ginger orange feet.

Both are flat face Persians.

There's lots of baby kittens when they let them out and people hunt them down and gather them up to be put in their rooms for a nap. The babies are let out for a couple hours in the evening and taken back to their rooms for the night. It's fun seeing a volunteer carrying 3 or 4 babies at once. emoticon

Got some more screen grabs.

This is Coralie, the double back legs amputee frostbite kitty,
she loves humans but grouchy to all other kitties.
She lost the top of her ears to the frostbite.

Volunteer Gregg washing and drying litter pans.
I think the sleeping tabby is Hensley and the
white and black CH kitty is Derecho. He loves kitties and humans.

I just popped in there for the first time.
The Gray and White [sign in to see URL] was playing with a crinkle ball and it went [sign in to see URL] see he has a hard time staying upright.
Was he hurt or born with that Cerebellar hypoplasia?
He's adorable... emoticon

Queeny, I don't remember seeing a gray and white kitty, there's lots of black and white kitties there, I know the names of two b/w kitties; Derecho a CH kitty who flops down when walking, he likes to lie in front of the counter; Lena a young adult b/w kitty who often times is seen sitting on the palm tree shelf.

This is Sergei, he had his crippled left leg amputated on Sept 18, the screen grab is the 2nd day of his recovery. He was running and playing that day. His eyes are closed by swooning over the loving he's getting.

I've been collecting tidbits about the kitties at FFRC...

The all White kitty with red collar always on the counter and jumping on Jacci's shoulders is Farrah.

Acadia rescued 9/19, 1 y/o adult weighing 2 pounds, survival questonable. She's now rapidly gaining weight under FFRC care.

Derecho is a CH white kitty with black spots and a black round spot on the back of his neck.

Cecil has CH and he is an inky (black).

Seymore white kitty with gray on back of head, he drags his outstreached back legs.

Elsie is blind, may have eyes removed to prevent infection and cancer.

Vern is a mild CH kitty, gray dilute tiger.

Neemu is the white calico kitty with black and orange on face often on the counter.

Lucy Ann white with black on forehead, calico tail.

Kazumi, a Tux kitty, will be adopted this evening 9/16 and will go by airline to her forever home. She will be escorted by her new owner.

Magic kitty is the fast running orangie CH kitty.

Gustave, orange kitty with white legs will have his cripled right front leg amputated today.

Sergei, orange kitty had front left leg amputated on Sept 18 and has buff legs.

Daisy doggy back from the vet spayed 9/18. Adopted to a very nice forever home with a huge fenced backyard on Oct 4.

Preakness is at her foreverhome we need to find Tabitha a home next.

Valeta was spayed while nursing her 5 kittens (the 3 meezer kittens were fostered by her).

Trucker tiger CH kitty always drags his bottom when walking, he follows Jacci endlessly.

Hensley is a mild CH tiger who is a bully and grouchy most of the time but sometimes he loves to be cuddled in people's arms.

Vern tiger CH kitty walks with splayed back legs. He can run and climb the palm tree too.

Charleston tiger CH kitty walks with splayed back legs.

Lexa is the calico kitten.

Lena is a white near adult kitty with large black spots who is seen on the palm tree or nearly under the camera sitting on the stool watching and waiting for a petting.

The three flat face Persians are Paddy Cake, Paddy Purr and Jolene who is a calico.

Froggy tiger has severe CH can't sit, stand or walk who lives in a cage but he is taken out often to play on a rug. He's a happy kitty.

The 3 little black kittens are Cecil, Hoot and Payden.

The brown tiger kittens: Tara, Dutchy, Jinkee, Morgan David, Sindile & Emmitt.

The chatters call the little kitties babies, wee ones and itties.

The 3 legged FFRC cats: Bella, Sergei, Gustave, Asha, Cayden.

Quote from Jacci: "How many cats do we have with CH? 17 and we love each of them!"
