Re: Susa's other pictures I REALLY LOVE your new shirt!
It's like wearing a bit of
And, take it from a hippie, you make a great hippie!!
Love the bed quilt. It's [sign in to see URL] very smart of you to connect your blankets like that..
Re: Susa's other pictures No, that is a really good price. I paid, $[sign in to see URL] for mine.
I think Hubby and I (especially me) have bought enough stuff... And this trip alone will take a while to pay for! But, seeing how we are not planning on going again until Mom and Dad are [sign in to see URL] should have years to pay things off!
Re: Ha, ha! I was holding it as high in the air as I could hold it.
Yes! I put a ponytail holder on the end of my sheet, blanket and quilt so that they don't come apart. At night I grab the ponytail holder and pull all three up at once. My daughter thinks this was a brilliant idea. She says I should patent it.
Re: Susa's other pictures Yes, your idea to tie the bedding together is brilliant. I may try that on Howard's side of the bed because he likes them up, I like them down. The ties could simplify things.
The shirt is beautiful! You may have overpaid but you got a lovely print. You should wash it inside out in cold water to help it hold up better.
Re: Susa's other pictures Oh that is a very pretty shirt! I love [sign in to see URL] of the Loom shirts are just lighter weight..
I really like the GILDAN brand shirts. That is what most of my fairy shirts are printed on.
I wash all my printed shirts, inside out and on Cold. And because I don't wear my favs when working hard, the good ones rarely are dirty, just have some cat hair on them. So I also wash them on gentle or short cycle...
Re: Susa's other pictures I really love that new Red car! It suits you well. And [sign in to see URL] [sign in to see URL] of you!
It's just [sign in to see URL] bet you get way better gas mileage from it.
Re: It is supposed to get 50 mph city driving. I guess if you do distance driving you get less per gallon. The reason is that every time you stop in town, stop sign, stop light, bank, to talk to someone, the car automatically turns off to save gas. As soon as you step on the gas it turns back on and goes. There is no pause in time.
They had the red one and a white one. I wanted the red one and drove it first. I never even got in the white one. The white one had a few more miles on it than the red one, but I never even considered that part. I wanted red!!!
I just made the appointment to have it rust proofed. It will be about $450. I guess besides undercoating it, they take it apart to rust proof all over.
In the late 1970's, we had a Toyota which we bought from my father. I can't remember whether it was a Corona or a Corolla.
In 1982, we bought a brand new Toyota Tercel Station Wagon.
I am now driving a 1992 Toyota Camry which belonged to my mother. When she passed away in 1999, and she left her estate to my sisters and me, I took the car instead of some of the money. It has been a very good car for us.
Re: Susa's other pictures I don't know if any of you have ever watched a show on BBC called "Top Gear"?
It's [sign in to see URL] crazy guys try to outdo one another in all kinds of vehicles.
Well they have had this Toyota Pickup for [sign in to see URL] they decided that they would try to KILL it....
