Good Day friends!
AS FOR ME TODAY...

Not [sign in to see URL] those who needed contacted about Sissy have been contacted. So I can sigh a sigh of relief. Relax a bit and get my energy levels back up. Hubby is taking me out to dinner and to pick up some prescriptions tonight, so that should be nice. Other than [sign in to see URL] much, which is a good thing! It is STILL [sign in to see URL]! Not supposed to let up for another WEEK! emoticon Told hubby he might want to start welding some "Pontoons" to the sides of the RV! emoticon

HI DI HO [sign in to see URL]'s Tuesday March 27th...
Hey guess what? Can you [sign in to see URL]? huh? huh?
It's [sign in to see URL]!!! Huge storm front/cold front/and wind storm coming. Right now, just [sign in to see URL] pouring here. Snowing up the mountains. But this is going to be nasty, windy, heavy rain and heavy snow, through tomorrow, they are calling for power outages etc. from the wet heavy snow (we "should" see only high winds and heavy rain).....then it eases up to light drizzle the rest of the [sign in to see URL] come [sign in to see URL] storm! They said, Shasta Lake water levels (which is a huge lake and we have pictures of it on March 13th)....has gone up 15 feet in 10 days. After this [sign in to see URL] week, it's gonna be a LOT higher! [sign in to see URL] told hubby to hurry welding on those pontoons. We have a 'small' [sign in to see URL] CREEK running through the campground, kind of cuts the campground in half, most the time, kids can play in it, catch frogs etc. [sign in to see URL] ever is on the other side, must walk out over a pedestrian bridge which is higher than the drive over bridge, because it's underwater. I "think" all those over there are the [sign in to see URL] people who live here. At least I hope [sign in to see URL] they are permanent now, at least till the water goes [sign in to see URL]'t see that happening for another week at least.
[sign in to see URL] I disappear, it's cause the Park lost power. LOL We'll be fine, worse comes to worse, we have our own generator and propane heat.
But I caught that little fellow (the Chipmunk above) stocking up on some grass grains, yesterday when we had 20 minutes of sunshine, thought he might make you [sign in to see URL] sure did me.♥

Thanks [sign in to see URL] tree reminded me of an "ENT"....a character in the Lord of the Rings books."

--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--
Good Wednesday my Friends, well we survived the rain and high winds...
I got a call just after I signed off of here yesterday from my son. Not the best [sign in to see URL] is what I wrote a friend and put some on Facebook:
***Chris saw the old neurologist yesterday, the one who has been his from the first, (not the neurosurgeon who did the surgery. No one from this family will ever step foot in that man's office again. I may kill him if I see him again.) But, the Trigeminal Neuralgia surgery he underwent, worked. We know that because the pain was GONE when he woke up from surgery. But thanks to that damned infection and screw up by his [sign in to see URL] pain is back to being as intense as it was before the surgery. His old neurologist thinks it's from the infection, the massive amounts of antibiotics they had to give [sign in to see URL] have caused the nerve to grow more scar tissue than necessary, and may have caused the nerve to slip or break off of that Teflon thing they used to hold it in place. [sign in to see URL] other scenario, because of the infection (which the doctors in ICU never told us how serious it was), his old neurologist said, it could have killed [sign in to see URL] have caused an over reaction of all the nerves. There is nothing they can do for at least 6 months, because his body has to heal itself as best it can. Then in 6 to 9 months, they can start with MRI's and see if there is anything they can do. It may [sign in to see URL] slowly, like 6 plus MONTHS heal on it's own and the pain may lessen. But for now. He's still trying to go to college, and deal with severe migraine like pain continuously.*********
So that news went down kind of hard, as we are still paying our part of the almost $140,[sign in to see URL] worth of bills!
Brother-in-law just called and said he would be coming across the mountain today, there is snow, but not terribly much where he is. I'm sure that the pass is worse, but he is used to it and has 4-wheel drive and studded tires.
He is rushed for time, has to pick up medical records, Sissy's ashes, see a lawyer (early tomorrow morning)...etc. And head back after tomorrows meeting with lawyer, before the next storm system this Thursday night into Friday... :hide: He said, he'd call when he got [sign in to see URL] just meet him at Walmart to get a copy of the death certificate and he wants hubby to take his son's old laptop and look at it. I guess it croaked when son was finishing up his homework, (son is now using Mom's old laptop)....but hubby wants to meet him for Dinner, take him out and really have a good talk with [sign in to see URL] to make sure he's doing okay. Ya know?
WE shall [sign in to see URL] may disappear today, so just fair warning there. emoticon

Oh, Queeny. They should not be charging a penny for that surgery since it ended in malpractice and they should fix whatever they can for free! This is very frustrating.

Problem is it did NOT end in a Malpractice....due to the variances and other obstacles the worse that we could do would be to charge the actual surgeon with mild neglect. And all he'd have to do is put the blame on some poor office worker who did not 'update' his patients as to his vacation plans.
WE don't know who stitched up Chris after the [sign in to see URL] "clean up team" (those who come in after the doctor does the surgery and cleans the wound up, stitches it closed and cleans him up and readies him to be taken back to the ICU...)one of 10 other people in that room could have simply missed that top [sign in to see URL] closing it enough, so that the first time he got a shower water was allowed to enter the [sign in to see URL] everything went to hell after that.

The only repercussion we have was: I went to every "Doctor, referral site on the internet" and gave him a exceptionally BAD [sign in to see URL] son's [sign in to see URL] one he's had doing the drug treatment (not the surgeon)....also said he will NEVER send a patient of his to DR. Shanker Sundrani [sign in to see URL] may have to go to Albuquerque, but 3 hours is worth it to NEVER have that happen to his patients again. He was fuming, Chris said! emoticon

Now for my day today...

--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--
Good Thursday friends. [sign in to see URL] and I met with Brother-in-law last night for dinner. He seemed to be doing well, cept for having to deal [sign in to see URL] he put it..."STUPID BUREAUCRATIC doo-doo!" As of this morning I believe, I've performed, what I see as my last act to my Sister and sent off to FACEBOOK a copy of her Death Certificate, so that her FB page can be permanently memorialized. Hopefully they take some 'extra' requests I had into consideration as well.(Mom,Dad,me and Rog may come back to Sissy's place later this Summer. MOM wants to get some things.) We got to have a nice dinner and talk with him. His son, my nephew drove up this morning, to have breakfast with his Dad and both are going to see a bankruptcy lawyer. Sister, being a self-employed Beautician, had life insurance up until a few years ago, when the costs (almost a thousand a month) outweighed what she made in income. And my BIL can not work. He ended up with massive problems from agent orange from the tours he spent in Vietnam. ALL HIS MEDICAL is covered, as long as he drives 3 hours one way to a Military hospital in Reno, NV. Sissy was never covered under his Military, because he met her AFTER he got out and he never retired from the Army, he's only treated because his problems were caused by his military [sign in to see URL] they had been just keeping a savings account for the 'small' things that Sissy may need. Unfortunately, this wiped out that savings completely and still the bills are exceeding $200,[sign in to see URL] is the only way to get away from the bill collectors who will be coming after him and/or his Son.
Sometimes, I seriously hate "Human beings"....and our laws. If you are praying people or want to send energy, karma or [sign in to see URL] your thoughts to him. Dave and David Ryan are going to need them.
As for [sign in to see URL] it's still freaking raining. And I've about had it. This place might be pretty nice if the Karma energy here did not suck.
[sign in to see URL] than cleaning the cat box and hubby going out tonight to buy a lottery ticket (what-the-hell someone has to win!), then not much going on around here, so I should be online most of the day. emoticon

Re:

Queeny, I am sending prayers and positive energy to your BIL and nephew. I know people keep saying the US healthcare is the best in the world, but that is only so for people who can afford to buy the insurance. My heart goes out to anyone who can not buy it.

I am sending prayers and positive energy for Chris, too.

My day has been absolutely crazy and I have a severe headache probably due to it all.

It started out that Photobucket sent me a message that I was about to exceed my bandwidth, so skeptical me went to my Photobucket account rather than trusting an email who could be wishing to rip me off. Well, it was true and there were two offending graphics. One was being used as a banner for another message board. At least I knew the other message board and had given them the graphic but rather than saving it to their computer and uploading it to their Photobucket they just used mine and there are many page views a day to their board. I wrote to the owner and she got it all sorted. The second graphic was one I had made from a screen shot on my computer and had used at Susa's Sunroom. A computer board I never heard of from some system I never heard of was using that graphic there and there were many, many, many people using it. I resaved the graphic with a slightly different name and deleted the used one from my Photobucket. Then I put the new graphic at Susa's Sunroom. By then I decided I should probably get a paid Photobucket and then it would never matter again. After I paid, I found out that they would just subtract the money from me every year unless I went to Paypal to unsubscribe them and that took awhile to do and then I printed something after that and my ink ran out!!!! Well . . . . . . . I had an email from where I buy ink and my ink was on sale up through tonight so I thought I had better buy ink and I did my whole order and clicked to pay and they said I couldn't just pay because I had an account. Who knew! LOL That meant I had to have my password sent to me and then I started all over again and when I signed in they had erased all of my information including who I am as a security caution and so I had to redo all of that but I got the ink ordered.

Ha, ha! Is anyone still reading? I am very long and boring tonight.

Next comes the part where I have sinned and I am going to have to admit it to a computer person I know and ask for help. You see, I got a look at Windows 8 last week and I do not want to go there for a very long time. Hopefully not until after they scrap it and come out with Windows 9, but my laptop is getting older and I got my Income Tax return. I bought a laptop I don't need. OK, I am past the sinning part. I just do not want to get caught up without a computer!!!! So today, I decided to set it up. I turned it on and it did the set up. Then it said to make back up DVD's and I clicked to do that and all was going well. Then it said to put in the second DVD and I did that and it said I must use a DVD that is writeable! Well, it was the same writeable DVD that I had just taken out. OK. I have more. I went through the whole stack and I am stuck halfway through the back up and it won't write anymore. I didn't know if I could turn the machine off or what to do!!! I did talk to my SIL on the phone, 4 hours later, and he said I could shut it down and start over later. Now I need to know if I can put it on an external hard drive instead and he didn't know and he is going away for a week. So I am going to search for help very soon tonight. I have a sever headache so I am going to look for chocolate.

Edited to add: Here is the place that was using my graphic. [sign in to see URL]

[sign in to see URL] you for your prayers and positive energy for my whole gang.. emoticon

[sign in to see URL] day definitely calls for some major chocolate there. emoticon
What a huge nasty day you [sign in to see URL] so hope you can get rid of your headache. It's hard enough to have to redo everything, but working with a [sign in to see URL] not good. emoticon

And those arses using your [sign in to see URL] the nerve of them!! emoticon

I had that problem when I first joined [sign in to see URL] you know why I put the actual sized Photo ON the [sign in to see URL] a thumbnail or one that is clickable to make bigger.
Because I locked my WHOLE photobucket and every single album in it. (it's a paid pro one to, I ran out of bandwidth the 2nd year emoticon )
I had people 'stealing' my photos that I had for my Sales site.... :nope:

I sure hope you get that computer [sign in to see URL] like it just glitched. I never make the DVD backups.

Once every couple of months or [sign in to see URL] Hubby and me copy EVERYTHING on our PCS to an external hard drive....
Not sure if that includes things like Windows operating systems or [sign in to see URL] does it. emoticon
But I did read your whole [sign in to see URL] this is for you emoticon

I hope your night ends better than it started HON... emoticon

Okay my friends, I'm out of here for the evening. May you all have a peaceful night and dreams to make you smile. See ya in the morning!

My Photobucket is completely Private and locked, too. They just copied the image information and used that. That is a huge website and they have to know not to do that because of the kind of community they are.

I am going to approach the other computer tomorrow and finish setting it up. I didn't want to bother tonight. It is TV and BOTW finds for me tonight.

My head is feeling a bit better. I took a couple aspirin. The Tylenol was not working.

As you know Susan, I don`t understand computer language for starters, so although I read all through your post, I understood very little...

I get little problems with mine, because I am not adventurous with it, thank goodness, I could not stand that hassle
Here`s hoping you have a better day today, Friday.

I had a bad day yesterday, well it was good till the afternoon, when dh went to the docs.
He hasn`t been well all the winter, now he has to go for a chest x ray.

I am scared to say the least... comes of him not talking to me... I have known he was not well, but he never mentioned his chest, though he has been holding it some, and just passed it off as a nothing.

I could do with some prayers to be strong.

Susa, what part broke? The outside handle or the inside trip lever or maybe the rod that goes through the water box wall?
Or maybe nothing broke, just the chain came off.

Re:

Between the handle and the trip lever the plastic broke. I opened the lid planning to reattach the chain but the lever was broken. It was between the lever and the handle where it had cracked. I couldn't see any way to make it stable. We can flush using the chain until my handle comes.

I looked at some with metal trip levers but the reviews said that those bend so I looked for a good brand name instead. With 2 day shipping fees it was still only about 10 cents more expensive than going to Home Depot and buying what to me was a generic name.

Boy I don't know. emoticon

Let's see... the service call charge, the mileage, tolerance tax, charge for experience, shop supplies, return check-up charge....

I'm sure I can do it, and it won't be much at all emoticon what are friends for...

ah yea, that's what I'm forgetting... the favor for a friend charge(that's where it really gets pricey)

I could've made you a "hook" out of a coat hanger, uh, I mean specially coated wire, and you wouldn't of had to buy that expensive handle ! The raise the lid and "pull" ! emoticon

Of coarse I can fix it Susa, and it will be "good as new"
uh, you can :swim: can't you ?
